AMEX Exploration has released the results of drilling completed on three zones of mineralization at its Perron gold project in Canada’s Quebec province.
Drill highlights include:
- 4.1 metres of 41.3 g/t gold from the Upper Gratien zone starting at 65 metres depth;
- 12.3 metres of 2.81 g/t gold from the High Grade zone at the Eastern Gold zone; and
- 4.2 metres of 4.8 g/t gold also from the High Grade zone.
These results suggest potential for high grade lenses within the kilometre long Gratien system and increase the footprint of the mineralized lenses at the Eastern Gold zone. Structures within the Eastern Gold zone have been traced over a 300 metre strike length to date. The Eastern Gold zone consists of the High Grade and Denise zones.
Additional assays are pending.
A third drill is expected at Perron in January to work on regional targets on the Beaupré rhyolite block along the Perron and Normetal faults. AMEX has also completed a high resolution drone magnetic survey at the property. A 60,000 metre drill program is planned for the property next year.
