VVC Exploration has received an environmental permit from the Mexican government for its Northern Mexico Copper Project.
VVC has also received a land use change permit for the project located on the company’s Kaity Claim.
The Canadian exploration and mining firm started metallurgical testing at the Northern Mexico Copper Project as part of the pilot mine planning process.
The approvals enable the company to begin mining operations in the Gloria Zones of the Kaity Claim.
VVC Exploration president Jim Culver said: “The receipt of the Environmental and Change of Land Use permits together mark a significant milestone for VVC.
“VVC’s vision has long been to commence operations in the Gloria zones with a copper Pilot Mine, in an environmentally and socially responsible manner, while generating positive economic and community impacts.”
Currently, the company is in the process of evaluating all aspects of the proposed Gloria Copper Pilot Mine and expects to gather all necessary information to make further decisions on the project.
Last month, VVC started metallurgical bench testing of copper mineralised samples from the Gloria Zones under consideration for a pilot mine. It evaluated the impact of crushing and other leach related parameters to ascertain the prime requirements for the recovery of copper.
VVC is engaged in the exploration and development of copper and gold deposits in Northern Mexico, specifically the Kaity Copper Project located in Chihuahua State.
It has other gold and silver prospects projects in Mexico and Canada.
The company is currently focussed on a 4055 acre near-production Samalayuca Copper Project in Chihuahua Mexico, and three other mining exploration properties in Mexico and Canada.
